DNase I is an endonuclease that can digest single- stranded or double-stranded DNA. This kit uses a DNA probe as a substrate. When DNase I is present in the sample, the DNA probe is degraded and the fluorophores labeled on the probe is separated from the quenchers to produce fluorescence, which is highly accurate, reproducible and sensitive.
